City Council Elections in Frankfurt am Main

Hallo,

on 14 March 2021, Frankfurt am Main elected its city council.
The city council was elected by proportional representation
with open party lists in a single 93-seat district. 28 lists
with 1103 candidates were on the ballot. The largest remainder
method was used so that a party could win a seat with just 0.5
of the votes; actually, there were 5 parties that won a seat
with just between 0.5 and 1.0 of the votes. In total, 16 lists
won seats.

Also on 14 March 2021, the Foreigners' Council of Frankfurt
am Main was elected by proportional representation with open
party lists in a single 37-seat district. 47 lists were on the
ballot. 30 lists won seats.
