Occasionally I get an email
I am concerned, because I occasionally get a note saying that I have been removed from the list because of some excessive bounces, that maybe this is not getting out.

I see all three of your posts FWIW :-)

Yup. You might notice the one marked "2nd try" is time-stamped before the one not so marked. That one sat in internet purgatory for about 50 minutes before it appeared. This was one post that I sent out where I was watching with bated breath to see a useful response (and I got one from Omegatron) and I lost patience.
Occasionally, I get some bot response from the list server that tells me that I have been removed from the list because of excessive bounces. This has happened often enough that I now do nothing in response (except wonder if I really was removed from the list).
Sorry for wasting bandwidth, guys. (Here's another curiosity - how many women are on the list? I don't see any posts from persons that have obviously women's names.)

There's Kathy Dopp, who is an (infrequent) contributor to the list (e.g.
http://lists.electorama.com/pipermail/election-methods-electorama.com/2021-July/002822.html).
But other than Kathy, I can't think of any; the distribution is very
much skewed male.

+roblan@gmail.com roblan@gmail.com who runs the list: Regarding the
bouncing messages, it may be that the list server software (mailman
http://list.org/) is not configured to handle cryptographic signing of
messages (DKIM https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DomainKeys_Identified_Mail).
The different ways that that can be handled are described at
https://wiki.list.org/DEV/DKIM.
There is also guidance from other folks who have run into the same problem,
findable via search engines.
